To be eligible to monetize on Petnimals you must:
Petnimals reserves the right to change eligibility thresholds at any time. Meeting the thresholds does not guarantee approval.
For each subscription payment collected for your content:
Example: A subscriber pays $10/month. You receive $8. Petnimals receives $2 before Stripe fees.
The revenue split may change in future versions of this Agreement. Any change to the revenue split will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice and will require your affirmative acceptance of a new Creator Monetization Agreement version before continued monetization. Continued monetization without accepting the new version will not be possible after the effective date of a revenue-split change.
Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect. Payout timing is subject to Stripe's policies and your Stripe account status. Petnimals intends to implement a platform-level minimum payout threshold (planned: $50) before initiating creator payouts. This threshold is not yet active; it will be implemented as part of the creator payout launch phase and you will be notified before it takes effect. You are responsible for ensuring your Stripe account remains in good standing and that your payout information is accurate.
Petnimals is not responsible for delays caused by Stripe, your bank, or incorrect payout information you provide.
All content you post as a creator — including content behind a subscription paywall — must comply with the Terms of Service. The following absolute prohibitions apply regardless of whether content is paywalled:
Monetized content must not include nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive content of any kind. This prohibition is absolute and applies to all tiers of creator content. Adult content cannot be unlocked by subscription price, subscriber-only access, or any other mechanism. Violation will result in immediate permanent revocation of creator monetization.
You may not monetize, sell, or charge subscribers for access to content that is generated or substantially generated using generative artificial intelligence. This includes AI-generated images, AI-generated video, and synthetic media. See the Terms of Service § 4.2 for the definition and exceptions (non-generative editing of real media is permitted).
You represent and warrant that you own or have sufficient rights to all content you monetize. You may not monetize content that infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. You may not monetize content featuring other people's pets without the appropriate rights to that content.
All prohibitions in the Terms of Service — including hate speech, violent extremism, animal cruelty, harassment, and illegal activity — apply equally to monetized content.
Petnimals may suspend your creator monetization at any time for violations of this Agreement or the Terms of Service. Suspension immediately stops new checkout sessions from being accepted for your content. Existing active Stripe subscriptions are not automatically cancelled by a suspension — they continue to renew at the Stripe billing level until separately cancelled, because Petnimals's current suspension control does not interrupt active Stripe billing cycles. Petnimals may take additional administrative steps, including cancellation of active subscriptions, where permitted and appropriate under applicable policies. Because existing Stripe subscriptions may continue to renew during a suspension period, payouts corresponding to those renewals may still be routed to your connected Stripe account by Stripe's payment infrastructure until those subscriptions are separately cancelled. Petnimals will endeavor to cancel existing subscriptions and take any available payment enforcement steps as promptly as practicable, but cannot guarantee immediate stoppage of all renewal-based payouts.
The following violations may result in permanent revocation of creator monetization. If upheld after any applicable review or appeal, the revocation may be permanent:
You retain the right to submit an appeal as described in the Terms of Service. An appeal does not automatically stay an enforcement action. If an appeal is upheld, monetization may be restored.
Existing Stripe subscriptions are not automatically cancelled when monetization is revoked or suspended. Petnimals will endeavor to cancel existing subscriptions upon permanent revocation, but this requires a separate administrative step; existing subscribers may be charged for one additional renewal period before cancellation takes effect. Because Stripe's payment infrastructure routes subscription renewal payments directly to your connected account, renewal-based payouts may continue until each subscription is individually cancelled. Petnimals will pursue available enforcement and payment actions upon revocation as promptly as practicable and where permitted by applicable payment processor terms, but cannot guarantee that all renewal-based payouts will be stopped immediately upon revocation. Petnimals does not issue voluntary refunds for subscription periods already charged.
You are solely responsible for all taxes applicable to your creator income, including income tax and self-employment tax. Petnimals does not withhold taxes on your behalf except where required by law. Stripe may provide you with tax forms (e.g., 1099) depending on your payout volume and jurisdiction. Petnimals is not a tax advisor — consult a qualified tax professional regarding your creator income obligations.
You may set your subscription price subject to any minimum or maximum price limits Petnimals establishes. Petnimals reserves the right to set minimum prices to comply with payment processor requirements.
You may change your subscription price at any time through your account settings. Existing subscribers are not automatically moved to the new price. Existing active subscriptions remain on the price in effect at the time they were created and will continue to renew at that price. New subscribers will be charged the updated price. If Petnimals later implements a price-migration flow that updates existing subscriptions to a new price, subscribers will be notified of the change in advance of any billing at the new amount.
If a subscriber initiates a chargeback for a subscription you received payment for, Petnimals may deduct the chargeback amount and any associated fees from future payouts. Repeated chargeback activity may result in suspension or termination of your monetization.
By completing Stripe Connect onboarding, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Stripe's Privacy Policy. Petnimals is the platform operator on your Stripe Connect account. Petnimals and Stripe may each take actions regarding your connected account as permitted by their respective agreements.
By accepting this Agreement you represent and warrant that:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Petnimals and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from: (a) your monetized content; (b) your violation of this Agreement; (c) your violation of any applicable law; or (d) claims that your content infringes any third party's rights.
Petnimals may modify this Agreement. Changes to the revenue-share split will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice and require your affirmative acceptance of the new Agreement version before continued monetization. Other material changes will be communicated by email or Service notification with a reasonable notice period. For non-revenue material changes, continued monetization after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a material change, you may opt out of creator monetization before the effective date.
Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. Termination by you means you stop monetizing content on Petnimals. Termination by Petnimals means revocation of creator privileges as described in Section 5. Obligations that survive termination (taxes, indemnification, representations) continue after termination.
